What is

Protracer is an Industry 4.0 IoT technology product. It is a two-way emergency voice communication system in compliance with relevant EN standards for remote monitoring, management of elevators and escalators.It detects safety failures such as out-of-service, revision, fire, earthquake, landing door, cabin door, general stop in the elevator and transfers it to the internet cloud system with the GSM line on it.The data is transferred securely to the elevator company's monitoring / control center and the necessary field maintenance personnel via the Cloud System.

What does Protracer do?

You can access many data such as the related performance and analysis reports of all elevators and escalators you maintain as an elevator company online via web browsers.Thanks to EMS-Elevator Tracking Program that works synchronously with Protracer, you can create work orders, create monthly / annual reports of your elevators and escalators, track your spare parts inventory, and bid to your customers.And most importantly, you can get all of these features with just one monthly lift maintenance fee.

ELEVATOR PERIODIC CONTROL REGULATION (Release Date: 04.05.2018, Number: 30411, In force)

5.10.2 Two-way communication, the location of the person to assist (In the case of a place that is allocated to an officer who is constantly employed in the dwellings, this place / building is considered as the ground floor. In addition, the security point in dwellings and other buildings is considered a site.) must ensure continuous two-way communication. The person trapped in the cabin after operating the communication system should not need to take any further action.

5.10.3 In the absence of the location in the building / structure for the person to assist, there is a remote alarm system that provides two-way voice communication for continuous contact with a rescue service (may be an Authorized service). This alarm system should comply with TS EN 81-28. (clause

          TS EN 81-20 STANDARD (Acceptance Date: 30.10.2014, In force) A remote alarm system should be installed in accordance with EN 81-28, which ensures permanent contact that allows bilateral voice communication in a rescue operation. (see also If no means for the survival of the person / persons trapped in the well are provided, alarm initiation devices should be installed in places where there is a risk of being trapped, so that they can be used from the shelter area (s) according to EN 81-28 (see 1, and 5.4.7). If there is a danger of being trapped in areas outside of the well areas, such hazards should be discussed with the building owners.

          TS EN 81-70 STANDARD (Acceptance Date: 28.01.2004, In force) Alarm system must comply with EN 81-28 and the following rules. The emergency alarm device placed on the control panel or on the upper part of the panel must be equipped with visible and audible signs consisting of the following.

a)Pictogram illuminated in yellow with an acoustic signal for the transmission of the emergency to indicate that the alarm is given.

b) A green illuminated pictogram is usually required with the audible signal (audio link) to indicate that the emergency call / alarm has been recorded. The volume of the audio signal (audio connection) should be adjustable from 35 dB (A) to 65 dB (A), depending on the site conditions.

          TS EN 13015 + A1 STANDARD (Acceptance Date: 29.06.2009, In force) The owner of the human / freight elevator should enable bi-directional communication tools and ensure 24-hour connectivity with the rescue service to ensure that the facility is continuously available, as described in EN 81-28. A telephone call service should be provided to rescue people 24 hours a year.

Note - A remote monitoring system can be used to provide information to answer the phone call.

6. The information to be given to the elevator owner regarding the rescue works should include at least the following:

6.1 The person (s) who have been authorized by the facility to rescue the passengers trapped in the elevator must be trained by the maintenance organization. Note - Alternatively, the owner may arrange for the authorized person (s) to be trained by qualified third parties in accordance with the maintenance instructions.

6.2 The training should be guaranteed to be suitable and updated for the particular facility.

6.3 It must be guaranteed that the person / persons who have been authorized save only people from the bus stop.

6.4 When the person (s) empowered by the elevator owner cannot move the elevator car using hand operated and / or electrical emergency equipment, it is necessary to ensure that the maintenance organization is called.

6.5 Only in cases where the maintenance organization will perform rescue work, the person (s) who are authorized must be notified.
